SCRIPTURES: PSALM 119: 9 – 16
The Psalmist’s question is, how can a young man keep his way pure? His answer is by living according to the Word of God. One of the greatest deliverance we can receive this year is to live according to the standard of God’s Word. The Word of God has in it the detail for every part of life. It is good that this year, we give the word of God enough attention. This year, you can make it a point of duty to seek the Lord with the whole of your heart. The Word of God has enough substance for sustenance in it. No wonder that the Psalmist said, “Your Word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you”.
You can make it a rule this year. “No prayer and studying of the Word – No breakfast”. I counsel with you, hear the word, read it, study it, meditate on it, memorize it, handle it rightly and be obedient in its practice. Jesus, the Word of God will see you through.
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. Do you seek the Lord – Morning, Afternoon and Evening? Joshua 1: 8. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth.
